One problem with webcam EDH nobody talks about is how it removes some of the natural checks and balances in the format. If you cast a Armageddon with no plan I can’t go key your car over webcam for example.

I think there’s a decent amount of EDH players, content creators included, who don’t actually like playing commander. They just like winning, and playing the game is a thing they tolerate along the way. Thats not necessarily bad, but it’s not the same as liking the format.

Be frustrated by wotc printing cards edh into comp sets, but don't take out those frustrations out on edh players. They don't want them either. Commander players want to make cards work in edh, they don't want cards made to work for them. ps edh players keep the whole ship afloat.

One problem with Rule 0 is it's been my experience that the people who do the best with it are people who tend to play in a way that least needs a Rule 0 conversation, and the people who do the worst job with it are the people who tend to want to play in a way that most needs it.
