There was hiring shift on Wall Street (circa early 2000s) away from the jocks and back-of-the-classroom cool kids to the nerds, quants, and DEI-box-checkers... If hiring today, I'm looking for the return of the soft skills - where the edge will be. Bring back the golfers, show-the-client-a-good-time guys, and the people I don't mind sitting next to on an airplane. Because AI levels the heavy-lifting playing field.
