Frisbee teams should have to put their official location as where they practice instead of picking a nearby city. Get ready for Morrisville Flyers, Morrisville Pheonix, Morrisville Ring of Fire, MU (Morrisville United), Morrisville Toro, and of course Durham Radiance
In my 8 years of playing frisbee, "upfield" and "downfield" have meant exactly the same thing. We'll never make any progress as a sport until we deal with this issue.
The fastest way I've found to navigate to the USAU DI nationals event page is to Google "usau college nationals 2022," click the link to the DIII page, and then delete two of the i's from the URL
Apparently Lei Out is really wet, and some folks are disappointed. I feel like y'all should have seen that coming. It's at the beach. That's literally where the water is
For my first frisbee tournament back, I'm only throwing deep and cutting deep. Everyone else needs to adjust accordingly. That's not really my problem.
And there's the tying break point for Lexington.
Two players get a little physical with each other where a slap was exchanged after the point. Coaches step right in to address it but currently in a long stoppage.
W&L 9-9 Lexington... game point coming up.
Double socking for frisbee changed my life.
1. No blisters
2. More comfortable in general
3. I've grown taller
4. My allergies went away
5. Water tastes better
6. Gordon Ramsey now asks ME for recipes
7. My belief that toppers are illegal in breakmark drills has strengthened
Subbing on timeouts is a terrible rule. Playing both ways is a fundamental aspect of the sport, and this is part of the reason why club/usau will always be better
Amazing sequence of events. Oberlin hucks to a nonexistent cut which the Davenport defender gets easily. While walking it to the line, the Oberlin mark leaves him and runs into another defender, then the Davenport player immediately turfs an unmarked throw to an unguarded player
Undefeated through five. 🇺🇸 See the stat leaders from a WILD day. Down 10-4 to a 14-13 win in the women’s division plus two strong quarterfinal showings. Semifinals up next!

USA needs to start sending the u20 team to u24 and the u24 team to standard worlds. They might lose, but at least it would be more interesting to watch
Tweeting from my personal because I stand behind this. We pulled OB. A player on the field runs to get it, picks it up, and tosses it toward the field. We called this as a turn. I'm very confident that it is. The Pitt coaches were like "are you really calling that?" and basically
Some of the lesser known new USAU uniform requirements:
- If any player has a tattoo, every player must have the same tattoo
- No numbers or names on uniforms
- Every player's height must be within 2 inches across the team
- Using morphsuits as the team uniform reduces USAU fees
A run FOUR the ages. 🏆🏆🏆🏆

I've called it frisbee my whole career. I only add the "ultimate" when talking to non-players. Other names I've used:
Fris
Ball
The beautiful game
Ulti
Hobby
Full field mini 7s
This dude filming the ring game has hit a tree with his drone multiple times now. The first time, it hit and fell. This time, it got stuck. I feel like he just hasn't earned the right to have a drone.
This guy next to me in class is wearing BE Ultimate pants, and I've never seen him play frisbee in any context. Obviously I don't know everyone who plays frisbee at this school, but I feel like I would know this
The Dodgers just spent over a billion dollars on two players. We will never live to see another team ball out like that in the same offseason for as long as we live.
After reading some of y'alls responses about how it's disrespectful to say someone was an extreme snub, I take it all back. I have come to the light. USAU has never made a mistake, and everything associated with USAU is truth. These rosters are perfect. Have a good Thursday!
There's a classic sports phenomenon of discussing plays and calls, but frisbee is different in that it is self-officiated. At the higher levels, players do not call all of the fouls and travels that they could, because they don't affect the game and therefore don't really matter.
Stop requiring the person who picks up an OB disc (from a pull or a turnover) to be the one who puts it into play. It just wastes time to have someone far away run to go get the disc when there's often a closer player who could put it on the sideline or toss it to the brick mark
BIG USAU SCANDAL: in order to disrupt NC teams from going 3 for 3 from the region to nationals again, USAU has scheduled AC regionals for the same weekend as the graduations of multiple NC schools. Why is no one talking about this?

They should make a different frisbee for left-handed people, but not because there's any inherent difference in the throwing mechanics (there isn't). I just don't want to be forced to use the same frisbee as them
I know it can be uncool to brag about grades and such, but I put in a lot of effort over the past 4 years, so I'm pretty proud of this. Also, I'm graduating today so I think I've earned some bragging rights
Elite players should be revered. They should be idolized and untouchable. We peasants are lucky to walk in their presence, and forcing elite players to play league is both an insult to them and to the rest of us for having our beliefs challenged.
Alright. Medium take? Y'all decide.
If you consider yourself an elite ultimate player and don't play in a league a year, you're doing your ultimate community a disservice, and I absolutely judge you if I know that about you.
People love to criticize the PUL and like whatever, but there have been no fights in the PUL. As a frisbee watcher, I need some bench clearing brawls on stream with multiple camera angles and slow-mo to keep me engaged. The PUL needs to immediately address this issue
1/2
I tried out for 6 teams this summer (Union, Detroit, RAMP, Parlay, Machine, Haymaker) and y'all. dont do that. Weirdest tryout was with Union (1-4am in a sports complex), Machine was a GRIND - a ton of sprints, mini, full field games but it was fun to see hard work pay off.
NBA All-star weekend should just be a series of one-on-one games featuring the players vs folks who been on the computer talking shit about them all season.
Pitt hucks into double coverage and I yell nice shot. Half the pitt sideline looks at me and a dude asks if I'm even in the game. Well not right now, but we bouta play as a result.
If any men's or mixed teams are missing players for southeast regionals this weekend, just know that I could drive there, but I AM NOT willing to assume the identity of your missing player and lie to USAU, because that would be WRONG. My dms are not open, so do not reach out
