We haven't tested whether DNMT3L can prevent their loss, as this would require over-expression during or immediately after derivation of a new hTSC line. What we do see is that DNMT3L expression cannot recover imprinted methylation in hTSCs once lost.

Using single-cell RNA-seq + PBAT, we characterised the molecular profiles of NSN and SN GV oocytes, which show highly distinct chromatin structures (example below). A great collaboration!
Our study characterizing oocyte stages during early development in mice is out now We present a classifier to stratify oocytes into NSN and SN stages, and highlight why it is important to take this into account for downstream functional studies
