@ForecasterEnten We haven’t had the same candidate on the ballot for cycles in a row. That along throws off this entire argument . Nate Cohn of NYT has said it’s entirely plausible if not probable that polls will continue to underestimate him. Given that his base is low propensity.

@EricLDaugh Folks, this is a clear outlier . CNN has the NATIONAL vote as a tie, with Trump ahead on the full ballot . National polls are a lot more robust than state polls. There’s no universe where MI and WI are 5-6 pts to the left of the popular vote.
