It’s my understanding that UTA partners with Pride by offering Ticket as Fare service—something they also do for UofU sporting events, big concerts, the Asian Festival, the Arts Festival, the Western Stampede and Carnival, etc etc.

I think the overtaking of the Republican party by Donald Trump is far more embarrassing. Too many good, conservative politicians and good, conservative voters have been squeezed out of their own party. Folks who stay and hold traditional conservative values are labeled RINOs.

I hate this.
My kids do dual language immersion. They are taught 1/2 day Spanish only and 1/2 day English only.
The ESL kids are supported, and the rest of the students are enriched with a 2nd language.
It’s an incredible program.

My kids go to school with a huge immigrant population. Those kids make our school a better place. I’m especially grateful to the Spanish-speaking students for the depth they bring to our dual language immersion program.
Per federal law, they have the right to public education.

My daughters, parents, and I all got COVID for the first time in September. Everything I’ve done during the pandemic has been to protect my parents. Still, I don’t feel “it was all for naught.” With vaccines and treatments, it was a very mild experience for them.
