I read that it's actually becoming more and more common these days. The Truman show type thing. I had a mental breakdown like that once and spent a few days in the mental wing cuz I didn't sleep for like a week and started hallucinating.

I think youre right. It's like a more specific symptom of schizophrenia. Truman show syndrome/Truman show delusion. The article I read said they thought it might be becoming more common cuz of social media and cameras everywhere. It makes sense. Ppl werent meant to live like this
