You obviously never actually watched this show because it was INSANE and not “normal.” There were literally meta jokes written into the show about how the core four never got a break from the insanity that was being thrown at them week after week. Favorite show of all time tho.
I remember the O.C. when I was in high school. A lot of people forget or are too young to know how basically normal things were for so long. You don’t have to go back a century or anything. It wasn’t perfect, but it was very different than today.
