@prodHackers One common principle I’ve seen is the important of consistency (at least in the content game). Most people stop before 10 newsletters, blog posts etc. Keep producing, learning, and improving and results will compound over time.

If you're not already, go out of your way to have calls with other folks in the newsletter industry. Don't ask for favors, just connect with other operators. The most successful newsletter businesses are boosted by relationships with other creators.

Newsletter revenue stream I'm bullish on: Job boards @banklessHQ and @lennysan are two great examples LinkedIn job posts lead to hundreds of BS applications. A job post in a targeted industry newsletter? That's gold.

Two metrics you should know: → Revenue per subscriber → Payback period How much do you earn from an engaged subscriber, and how long does it take to make it? Once you know this, you can grow much faster.

The newsletter metric that matters the most is revenue. If you're looking at other metrics, they should all point back to revenue. Low open rate? Leads to lower revenue. Low click rate? Leads to lower revenue. These metrics don't matter that much when viewed in isolation.
