It's nice that they could one part fast, but Turkey gets their shit together and gets the stuff operational, while Mumbai gets entangled in legal hassles and bad contractors. It may still take years even if they dug super fast for some stretch😥😓

The amazing thing is, that there is an 18 percent tax on hospital bill.
Usually, the typical old age diseases are recurring and insurance will cover not all of it.
So on every 10000 Rs hospital expense will be 1800 Rs tax...
One should not tax hospital bills like this...

Buses have level entrances, ramps, or lifts. For wheelchairs, prams, people who cannot climb stairs and so on.
If the driver had to help with any disabled passenger, he would be in hospital with a bad back shortly!

Idea is to not pollute in the first place, get dust of the roads not by manual sweeping but with a vacuum suction cleaning machine,get builders to clean up the road leading to the construction site daily, better quality buildings need not be broken down every 20 years...

I find no anesthetics in that, it has spoilt one of the scenic spots of Bombay, deprives people from using the seafront, and serves only the 10% of South Mumbai folks who own a car...
Also, new bottlenecks are emerging because, eventually, all those cars need to go somewhere...

Yeah,Mumbai infra really improved with a bridge and that coastal road! One needs a car, which 85 % of Mumbaikars do not own!
And a driver to go circling in South Bombay, as one cannot find parking anywhere...
But most people do not have a car in the first place, so back to zero

There are problems, of course! Tracks being upgraded , trains not running due to lack of personal, it's a bit like a gamble at times, but if you miss your connection you can go on the next train...

It's a bit tricky, but if you travel First Class and not at peak times it is very manageable...there is no third class on a local...looks like you are not really using the train, just "scared"...

Traffic may go off the trains, not necessarily off the roads.
Only people using public transport will get an advantage.
Your choice to take the car or switch to Metro.
If you build more roads, more roads will get congested. Individual cars are not sustainable in a Mega City...

Entry for foreigners: Rs 600.-

Mumbai busses are filthy, broken, have massive steps to climb up and down and are completely unreliable, 45 min waiting in rush hour is crazy, and then the bus is full after 2 stops and just passes the other stops...
Bus shortage, not user shortage!
