The most important thing about the GAA is the people you meet through it. I feel blessed to have known Lorcán O'Rourke & work with him for the last 12+ years. He was a man of many talents, a fantastic mentor, a loyal friend & a gentleman.

Passing of one of Moorefields greatest players Jimmy “Ba” Dowling.
Jimmy won Senior Championship in Football and Hurling 1962/63, he won 3 leader cups in a row 58,59,60
He played in a National league final1958 with Kildare at full forward and scored a 1-1

A batch of children's tops were transported to Lebanon by 117 Inf Bn and handed over to Fr Stuart's a school for approx 160 Syrian Children who's families have fled the civil war & are now residing in Lebanon.
