🚨 Late last year, #IGAD made the historic decision to establish a Permanent Observer Mission to the UN recognizing that today’s global challenges demand multilateral cooperation. As envisioned by our ES, H.E. @DrWorkneh, I am incredibly proud to carry this vision forward in New York. Our mission is committed to working with all #UN Member States, specialized agencies, and observers to drive meaningful collaboration. And we welcome all #IGAD #UN #Multilateralism

We welcomed 164 Ethiopians who faced challenging situations in Lebanon. A natl committee, including @RRSEthiopia, has facilitated the return of 758 citizens to date. The Govt of 🇪🇹 remains committed in protecting the dignity of its citizens & ensuring their safe reintegration.
