@carbo_al Keir, like Trump, isn’t a career politician. He only became an MP in 2015. He was director of public prosecutions from 2008-2013, and he was a human rights lawyer before that. I’m not a fan of his policies, but unlike most politicians he’s not just in it for himself.

@REF0RMEDBAPTIST @OrthodoxChrist2 Uhhhhh, no. Scripture makes it very clear that baptism is for HUMANS. So when families get baptised… we can confidently presume HUMANS are being baptised. As Peter says in Acts 2:38-39, baptism is for CHILDREN as well as adults.

@redeemed_zoomer I think you can definitely see variety in Church building styles between denominations in Indonesia. Catholic Churches are still heavily inspired by European Gothic Architecture. (Not saying this is good or bad, or anything, just making an observation. Church styles interest me).

We don’t believe that God dwells in a statue of Mary, but we use statues of Mary to represent her (since she physically is no longer on Earth). God does dwell in Mary, and we use statues to represent her.
