For the record, I’m in favor of pure meritocracy and opposed to any DEI initiatives as it relates to airlines.
Nobody should be selected OR excluded for any characteristic.
Cast a wide net, select the best.
Nothing in that video suggests this FO is less than excellent.

Doing this reduces the amount of pressure she needs to use pulling back on the yoke to maintain her desired angle/rate of climb.
Also indicates she is properly hand flying vs. prematurely engaging autopilot immediately after takeoff.

She had a non functional forearm from an accident that hindered her. She had that removed to gain functionality.
There is now painful bone regrowth at the site of the amputation that will get fixed with further surgery.
Decision seems wise.

Thar said is not uncommon to in aircraft of that vintage to have some out of date / unused equipment.
LORAN and ADF are both good examples of things you may see on a flight deck that aren’t used today.

That is the elevator trim. It is used to adjust the amount of pressure you have to put on the yoke (forward or aft) for the plane to maintain a certain pitch at a given airspeed.
A well-trimmed aircraft will hold your desired pitch even if you release the yoke.

All aircraft have specific limitations as to how much crosswind they are allowed to take off or land in.
That is one reason why many major airports have runways in different directions so you can land more "into the wind" and with the least crosswind possible.
