Norman Truman was a staple in the Minneapolis punk community and a super rad & friendly guy. He stood in solidarity with the people of Nicaragua after the 2018 uprisings as he loved traveling CentAm but especially Ometepe.
Not everyone is comfortable bullying politicians in public, but if you see else someone doing it, you should cheer them on encouraging others to do so as well ๐
Sometimes it feels like most of Minneapolis residents donโt fully appreciate the historical significance of a defunct gas station & a specific intersection

Fuck the [Minneapolis] police. Another person killed. This time for a "Traffic Stop"(???)
I was not dressed for the cold so I had to come back.
I saw MPD officers helping themselves to snacks in the closed Holiday gas station. Some person got it live-streamed(didnt get name)

In the video she said men donโt provide protection which according to her telling of the violent incident is 100% consistent.
I don't know who needs to hear this but you can literally talk to someone experiencing a mental health crisis on the street and ask them what they need
One thing that has bothered me as far as the coverage of Nicaragua over this past week has been to make it seem like Ortega was instrumental to the 1979 revolution.
He was not.
