@weatherguy79 I went to a Louisville game at IU one time, and the student section started chanting “Boston Celtics, Boston Celtics.” It was hilarious, but as a Patino fan, it was brutal!

Really interesting thread on ADHD. I understand it causes challenges, but it does indeed seem like a super power at the same time, if channeled correctly.
The biggest medical scam: ADHD. It’s not a mental disorder, it’s a superpower in disguise. Here’s how you turn ADHD into hyper-focus (backed by science):

Interesting. I've read another study that says the same thing, with some nuance--in the short term, married people with kids are less happy, but in the long term they are much happier. Makes sense that daily stress brings short term happiness down with all that kids bring. But long term you've invested into the next generation and have made a tangible impact on the world.

A friend asked me: “What are 3-5 attributes a man following Christ must have? What are ways/routines to strengthen those areas?” Below is my answer: Honor—what the scriptures describe as treating others as uncommon. This starts w those closest to us—do we do daily things that treat them as uncommon, from opening the door for our wife to cleaning up others dishes. Generosity—living open handedly with the money God has entrusted us with. This starts with tithing to local church and increasing from there; then giving an additional % to opportunities outside the church. Risk—do you purposefully put yourself in positions where you have no choice but to depend on God. This starts with being real in friendships, where other people would choose to stay on the surface. Strength—do you have spiritual strength to endure hard times, physical strength enabling you to give your best, mental strength to be a reliable, and leadership strength to show the way. This starts with doing things that are hard physically, which grows the rest. Fun—what the scriptures describe as joy (which btw, the Bible word for “joy” and “happy” is the same). This starts with laughing often and creating experiences for those closest to us to have fun. Just my opinion.

This is a level of personal integrity many leaders lack. Forces me to look in the mirror and make sure I myself am doing and saying the right things, come what may.
Elon Musk won’t be bribed or bought “Offer me money, offer me power, I don't care. I'll say what I want to say, and if the consequence is losing money, so be it.”

@sqldatasquirrel Interesting take. If was Lamar, I'd call Brady and say, "Let me come hang for a couple days to learn your ways." I'd also call Manning to ask how he got over a similar playoff hump.
