Wayne telling it like it is!
Our default state these days is to focus almost exclusively on people we will never meet, situations we have no control over. Everyone is crawling out of their skin with anxiety because they're bombarded by events they never should have even heard about to begin with.

@knownasilya I don’t have a brand, but I’d like to know which are best. These were leftover from last time when I bought whatever looked like a good shape from the Asian market. They were ok.

@NatureSchoolSU @silvopasturist that is crazy and I believe it. Thankfully I never remember any of my teachers being "all in" on Ch1, probably simply because it was Iowa in the 90s.

Thank you! We definitely have predators, but they typically don't visit in the day as this is very close to our house. So long as the birds get in for the night, i don't lose any. Most of the trouble i've had is with stubborn geese or ducks that won't get safely in at night, or with an auto door that doesn't close on the rare night i don't check. Early on before i secured the underside of our other coop, i lost some to some kind of digging animal.

I have a vague recollection that the Channel One TVs were expected to be easy to use for other programs in the classroom but more often than not they stilled rolled in a cart TV cause it was too difficult to play from a VHS in the classroom on those CH1 boxes. I do remember the school used it for school government speeches. "elect me if you want a great prom!" stuff

@AmberLakeFarm Looking forward to tasting the reaper honey. When do you expect to have it back in stock?

@silvopasturist I remember it was generally framed by the teachers as “we get these free TVs in each classroom but the price is we have to watch this program”

@PatrickHeizer I don’t think so. I travel for work and have (mostly liberal) friends and family in large cities and other areas. The notes in the article about CPI/inflation most resonate with my observations and what you and I have generally sparred about.
