Isn't it incredible that Scotland, a place where less than 50% want independence, managed to have ALL the advisors for public health to be nationalists during the covid pandemic, imagine not being able to find one expert that wasn't pro independence eh?
It would be cheaper to build a brand new ferry than continue with the current one being built at the Ferguson Marine shipyard, the Scottish Government has revealed.
For as long as Scotland remains under Westminster control, our NHS is under threat.
Labour are no longer hiding their desire to privatise the NHS. They have made it abundantly clear: a vote for Labour is a vote for NHS privatisation.

So just to get this straight according to
@AngelaHaggerty
we can go for independence during the worlds biggest pandemic and the worst financial crisis in living memory but we can't boot out a first minister BECAUSE of the pandemic and she's popular, is that correct?
Whether it was planned or not but Bojo has pulled a flanker here, sturge and patsy left in no mans land with covid passports, anyone think patsy
@patrickharvie
is now regretting the move now or is the extra £30k worth it?
So basically the SNP don't want to spend money on the two child cap because it would mean cutting money from some other budget but they want the UK government to pay for the whole lot while NOT cutting some other budget, am I getting this right?
Can someone explain how
@JohnSwinney
doing a u turn is a sign of greatness and integrity but Williamson should be sacked in the morning for the same offence?
Remember when a rail company said trains couldn't run because it was the wrong type of leaves, well here's
@JohnSwinney
telling us it was the wrong type of wind that's at fault for thousands doing without electricity, yes you're hearing this right.
OK, I need help here. Why does it matter where that 90mph wind is coming from? Surely if it is 90mph from south or north, it will cause the same damage.
Dear
@JeaneF1MSP
now you're sorting out folks shopping woes can you please contact
@Morrisons
and ask them if they'll be getting in more of the lovely Australian sauvignon blanc they ran out of last week, thanks doll.
@MhairiHunter
Mhairi please answer this, IF there isn't a Scottish independence referendum next year (2023) will you resign from all your political jobs and never seek employment in politics again, I want to see how confident you are of their actually being one, thanks?
@JimFairlieLogie
Jim, just for you because we all know you're not the brightest bulb on the dimly lit Christmas tree, your party demanded the UK government use all its fiscal powers to help with covid and the cost of living crisis, what's your problem now, do you understand how borrowing works?
@ChrisMusson
@valmcdermid
So just because her close personal friend is involved it's full steam ahead, where was the outrage for the sexual victims of football clubs, why has that been kicked into the long grass?
Speaking with
@NicolaSturgeon
ahead of
#SNP19
- the First Minister says she’s not going to waste time bothering about UK Gov’t opposition to another independence referendum - and says it will come down to the demand for another vote rather than who’s in No 10
I take it the SNP are losing a bit of support so are dragging up the possibility of another referendum just to quell the mutiny, how many times is that now?
@robinmckelvie
@theSNP
Wow, when you put it like that what a cracking deal we get, almost the same land mass yet we only pay 8% of the cost to protect our land, sea and air, I'm glad you've hardened my stance on remaining in the UK, thanks pal.
My neice in England who is a teacher, rashions using her inhalers because they cost so much. She has 3 teenage children and struggles to find low cost meals for them. I'm trying to get her to move to Scotland.
I take it Mr Murrell using his considerable power to influence a police investigation isn't news in Scotland any more, anywhere else in a normal democracy this would be headline news!!!
Dear nats I'm not sure how many times you've got to be told this but over 90%, probably closer to 95% of ALL prescriptions are FREE in the UK, the only folk that have to pay for them are those that can afford them.
So when the SNP close pubs, clubs, etc and blame Westminster for not paying wages will the nationalists of Scotland back them or realise everything is just a game to them and people are being used as pawns?
@ScotlandBobby
@NicolaSturgeon
What's her greatest achievement as FM, give me the one BIG thing she done that changed Scotland for the better for the vast majority of folk living in Scotland?
@FrankLeeBrian
Did anyone understand what the POs point was other than "don't involve me I haven't got a clue what day it is never mind anything else".
@putey_pute
Out of the 119 (think it was that amount) of applications 3 were chosen but unbelievably and totally coincidentally 2 of those chosen for the grant are deeply involved with the SNP, quite incredible that.
@Fionna6669
@GordonMcKee_
@AnasSarwar
Yeah because equal rights, workers rights, improving life, reducing child poverty, reducing drug deaths, improving education, improving mental health, uniting people is shite political beliefs right enough.
Palestinian terrorists recording a video with a kidnapped Israeli boy they are holding hostage in Gaza, letting young local Palestinian kids abuse him.
To keep the conflicting going, they wan't spread the hatred to the next generation.
@transitionlouth
@putey_pute
You do know oil & gas has only brought in £300bn in tax over almost 60 years don't you, the entire UK raised £634bn last year in tax.
That's it I'm never paying for another TV licence, bastard BBC have decided not broadcast one single minute of today's independence referendum, no coverage, no analysis, see if we were independent it would have been on all day and night, bastards.
@MhairiHunter
I'm not against the UK taking in refugees in any way shape or form but ask yourself Mhairi if the UK is as bad as YOU make it out why do these poor people move through 4-5-6 safe countries to get to the UK which is effectively the end of the line?
Now that the SNP have tried to have vote SNP both votes for Indy on voting slips it really puts
@patrickharvie
in his place, they don't want you to get their second votes patsie, will you still roll over for them?
@jackiebmsp
@BBCScotlandNews
@BBCNews
Seriously what can you do Jackie, they've lied through their teeth but yet nothing can be done why is that, is it Scotgov policy that needs looking into or is it the justice system, what exactly is the problem here?
@magnusllewellin
I'll say it again, any other government in a normal democracy and they would be gone but now things like this are taken for granted and hardly raise an eyebrow, what has Scotland become 😔.
@TheHornyHaggis
How is that a bad thing, schools being closed or would you rather kids lose another day or 2 of schooling because their school is being used as a poling station?
@paulhutcheon
Are the nationalists just going to burn Scotland down to the ground before they leave, it's a well worn path we've seen from nationalism throughout history.
@MhairiHunter
Mhairi I've asked you this before, will you resign from all your political posts if there isn't an scottish independence referendum in 2023, please answer?
Strange that Dundee, yes city according to nat's, and Glasgow, another city that voted predominantly yes, have the highest funding figures, coincidence????
