Well fam, I had a slip at 125 days. However I’m not going to beat myself up about it and if anything I actually learned a few things. So I’m going to carry on my sober journey with the same time I had, - 1 day, if that makes sense. Onward in recovery.

Today even after getting to a great meeting,I struggled for the first day in a while w/ wanting to dismiss my emotions through drinking.I paused. I prayed. I talked to another person in recovery,read through notes I’ve taken at meetings. so grateful for another sober day & AA 🙏🏼

My ex and I had been legally separated for years now, and as of 10am MST today, we are officially divorced. The end of a beautiful era, tbh, even though marriage wasn’t right for us. 10 good (and bad) years truly comes to a close. Feeling a little emotional surprisingly.

By the grace of God I’m living a sober life. By the extreme measures of God my brother is in a rehab facility with a chance at life. It really just hit me. Currently my mom has two sober kids. What a gift.

Thinking to myself, I used to feel so jealous of “normal drinkers”, but I’ve come to realize it’s such a blessing to not be one, in so many odd ways. Laying on the couch snuggled up,present & sober on this drinking holiday. Feeling grateful. 🙏🏼
