Under appreciated @laravelphp benefit - having a highly opinionated framework lets you move much faster with Cursor and AI tools. No double checking packages or how to do something, you just get results.

After many months of works, the Jeep is driving again! Quite the project, full rebuild down to every bolt on every part. Some final assembly needed (seats, roll cage, windshield, etc), but feels good to have it moving!
I was in need of a project this weekend…saw the posting for an old ‘72 Jeep CJ5 on Friday and next thing I know…. Planning a full restore, particularly excited to rebuild the engine and drive train. I’ve always wanted to learn and no better way than jumping in. I’ll update this thread as I progress:

Tail lights installed, drive shaft in, fluids filled, emergency brakes working, main brakes almost working (bleeding was a pain). Waiting on clutch parts and starting on electrical tomorrow. So close

Close to a test drive! Core electrical is wired, tailgate on, front bumper and lights set. Waiting on new drive shafts and need to install pedals for brake/gas/clutch. After that should be good to drive...
