What our pal

might not realize is that odds of nuclear war have always been too high and a strong nuclear deterrent has been in place for years to mitigate that. Want odds of nuclear war to decrease? Don’t appease nuclear armed dictators.
@DavidSacks
Fascinating how many things you get flat wrong and how well you make it seem like everyone else is just fumbling through it all but oh you know the path to peace. Tell Putin to stop invading neighbors and get out of Ukraine and then sure, negotiate.
@HolocaustMuseum
Dear friends, I thank you for everything you do for this critically important mission. I am so sorry this offensive action disgraced your halls (I am donating now and will keep you my list). Please keep up the good work.

The Oliver Stone movie might not have indicated this, but the reality is few Americans have done more to help Putin than Edward Snowden. His traitorous disclosures hurt our nation's ability to know what adversaries are up to and were not motivated by protecting our privacy.

Now that you mention it, since i follow you i used to see your tweets all the time. This is the first i have seen in ages. Your message is so very important today, thanks for all your do.
BREAKING: Russia's Defense Ministry says countries which use their airfields to supply Ukraine with fighter jets may be regarded as participants in the conflict
Q: When is the best time to build a nuclear power plant?
A: 10 years ago
Q: When is the second best time to build a nuclear power plant?
A: Right now. Get on it. This the way. Build in every free nation.
There is a huge need for some creative destruction in the NGO space. Could really use some comprehensive assessments on which NGOs have been co opted by PRC or Russia or extremists so their risks to society can be mitigated. Need NGOs rooted in love and care for humanity.
Thread.
#SlavaUkraini
Again, NGOs that can seem only to attack democratic countries with rule of law while simping for terrorists & autocrats don’t come to this behavior suddenly - they’ve been doing it for years in the MidEast
Among the many reasons JAWS was such good fiction is how realistic Mayor Vaughn's character was. The stubborn politician refused to listen to reason or facts. If he would have taken action he would have avoided disaster. See:

I am not saying Putin is dead, I have zero information on that. Just wondering, how long would it take between his death and the world knowing? And what indicators might we get that he was dead before an official announcement?
@DavidSacks
@ForeignPolicy
War is a horrible thing. Let's stay as united as possible against Putin and the Russian aggressor and push for their quickest possible withdrawal from Ukraine.
Speculation: RU navy discipline, training, equipment maintenance, is no better than that observed in their ground forces. So, when a ship gets hit with two missiles all is lost. Contrast that with what happened when USS Stark was hit with two Exocet:
Would love to know, if any of you intercepts any morse or HF voice or other signals from the Black Sea that indicates who the senior ranking officer onboard the Moskva was. If you see any hard data, or any assessment at all, please share.

Sergej thank you for sharing this, I would not have seen it if you had not, and I thought I was tracking Russian activities in this space. Shows i have a lot to learn and makes me wonder why the West lets this happen? There should be no Russia in the Olympics till there is peace
My estimate/wild guess: In the US there are 2 million vulnerable companies that need to take action on this. 2000 of them have a program mature enough to recognize that and take appropriate and timely action.

Thank you for sharing this. I would not have seen it if you had not done so. As for me, am very thankful for farmers where ever they are, but am extra appreciative of gutsy farmers who stand up for what is right.
A reminder that many things can be true at once. We can despise the leadership and evil military brutes of Russia but love the Russian people. It is a hard life to live under authoritarian rule, and gutsy to do things like this there.
You openly put your pictures in a big computer that 7 billion people also use. And you are surprised when others see those pictures. There are issues here to think through but this company is not the end of privacy. Posting all your stuff online is the end of privacy.
EXCLUSIVE: With a single photo, hundreds of law enforcement agencies in the U.S. can learn your name, where you live, and who you know. It will end your ability to walk down the street anonymously.
Intrusion at City of Oldsmar Fl (pop 15k) water treatment plant. Hacker increased Sodium Hydroxide (lye) from 100ppm to 11100ppm, a dangerous amount. Plant operator quickly saw and reversed it. Other checks in place, they say, to stop.
I don’t have a simple model that helps put the Russian situation into context, and no exact historical analogy. But close analogy may be like when mob bosses or gangs or terror groups fight. There are no good guys here.
I personally believe this latest ugly move by the totalitarian world against the free world has to end in Putin's removal from power. Not only do we have to protect freedom but we have to send a message to history (and to China and Iran and their ilk).
If you like electricity (I admit i do) you should be more than happy to have a nuclear power plant in your area. It is safe, saves lives, is economical and good for the environment.

1 of 3 - Regarding this latest 'Anonymous' clown theater. The site does NOT send texts to Russians, it gives you a random Russian number and one of 6 Russian phrases to paste into your phone to send the message from YOUR phone...
@DavidSacks
Misinformed it seems. My recommendation is not to base your assessments on master of deception Putin or any Russian media says. And don’t believe any fools who might have told you a counter offensive would end quick. How foolish.
@johnkonrad
John I find your arguments both serious and compelling. The world has changed and our approach to national security and defense needs to as well.
I remember the Cold War. Studied nuclear planning. We knew USSR leaders were very calculating and did not want nuclear war. Like the old Sting song, we knew they loved their children too. Regarding Putin, I don't know if he is still sane, but have to hope his military is.

I think it is very important for the West to find out who to negotiate with in Moscow once Putin becomes deposed, it is hard to know who that will be till it happens, but they should be thinking of a short list now, don’t you think?
@DavidSacks
A lot of people want to believe this specious reasoning. Hard to counter point by point in a tweet. But the bottom line is many Ukrainians decided they would live free or fight till they can’t any more. I cannot support the position that Ukrainians should be slaves. Monroe

Multiple things can be true at once. For example: ISIS is evil and their brutal terror attack against Russia was wrong, and Russia is evil and their brutal terror attacks against Ukraine are wrong.
The longer the Ukraine can hold out the better their odds of winning. Lessons from The Peloponnesian War, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and prob just about every other military engagement makes it clear: never underestimate your adversary. I think Russia did that here.
