A 4,951 Meg file compresses down to 471 Megs with Rar best mode and a 1 gig dictionary.
zpaq compresses it down to 185 on max mode!
Then again it takes over an hour to decompress on a 4Ghz Xeon.

The first DEF CON network ran at 10 MBits & MTU size was 1500 and our current network runs at 10 GBits with the same MTU.
Setting MTU to the max, 9000, is a 6x increase in size for a 100x increase in speed. I’m guessing average file size is more than 6x bigger since the early 90s

Interesting that Android 9 uses DoT (DNS over TLS) while Google Intra uses DoH (DNS over HTTPS)
DoT is the better privacy solution, DoH still allows some meta data to leak. Both have some trade offs but the big ad companies seem to be lining up behind DoH.
