For clarity’s sake, the term
‘occupation’ applies to territory of sovereign states. ‘Palestine’ is not now nor has it ever been a state, nation or kingdom & the Mandate borders were recognized as Israel’s international borders by Egypt (‘79) & Jordan (‘94) in the peace treaties.

Incredible ignorance. 181 was a UNGA resolution which means it was a 'recommendation' at best. It has no legal value whatsoever. The legitimacy of a state is not determined by the UN or any other external body. The Montevideo Convention applies.
