I know it’s not a lot given how much my starting weight is but as of today I’ve lost 15 pounds in about 5 weeks thanks to Mounjaro. I’d have to lose another 100 to be at a healthy weight but frankly I’d just be happy being able to wear 2xl shirts again.

Car prices are insane. The fact that they now have 7 and 8 year car loans shows how ridiculous. If someone made a basic vehicle for $10,000 no frills they would make a killing. I’ll lock my own doors and crank my own windows if need be.

I haven’t updated my Mounjaro journey in a long time. I started in November and lost about 40 pounds in the first 3 months and since then even with increases in dose I have not lost anymore. It’s not a magic bullet for everyone. The good part is that my A1C is normal. Yay!

If I’m not mistaken Saxenda and Trulicity were approved in 2014. Victoza was approved in 2010. This class of medication isn’t new. Will GLP-1 medications have unforeseen side effects? Of course they will but that doesn’t mean they will be severe.
