RT @BikeBusShaw: Just look how many people were on the #bikebus today! More asking for details in the playground too. Turns out if you show…

@BikeforGoodGla @GoBikeGlasgow @GlasgowCC @transcotland Great to meet with you this morning (and thanks for the delicious cookie). Keep up the good work!

@UrbanistTOC Was directed down Old Dumbarton Rd to Finnieston by police at Kelvinhall, only to learn that the crossing at Finnieston was now closed. Police at Finnieston apologised, they said that to cross the road (10metres) required going back to Gibson Street!

@UrbanistTOC Is this the most inaccessible bike lane on the #COP26 recommended cycling route? @GoBikeGlasgow

@sturmeyarcher3 @UrbanistTOC ..and this is this morning. Danny would love it! Plenty of adventure.

@UrbanistTOC It is also quite dangerous at times, this was the cycle route yesterday afternoon.

@UrbanistTOC @GetReadyGlasgow @ChristyMearns @RantyHighwayman @AngusCMillar @GoBikeGlasgow @patrickharvie @carltonreid @TheWarOnCars @RKWinvisibleman @PaulJSweeney The fence panel in the middle of the crossing really is spectacularly stupid, given that @GetReadyGlasgow are distributing a map with this as a part of the cycle route.

@Hammer @UrbanistTOC @GetReadyGlasgow It is becoming like the set for The Hunger Games. Ironic for a cycle/walk/wheel friendly Eco Conference.

@GlasgowCC This was the recommended two-way #COP26 cycle route this morning…now half width. Seriously @GetReadyGlasgow ?

@GoBikeGlasgow @GetReadyGlasgow Another magical mystery tour on the COP26 diversion route. The dual use paths are now half as wide, new cycle lane is a lorry park.

Agree with this! Actually safer to cycle along Argyle Street than use the diversion.
@GoBikeGlasgow It's appalling. It's worse than nothing in fact. Why bother? How many folk cycling to Glasgow from across the UK and beyond for COP26? Welcome. This is how Glasgow treats folk getting about on bikes in a climate emergency and we should be grateful for it, apparently.

@UrbanistTOC @EvaArrighi @GetReadyGlasgow @GoBikeGlasgow @ChristyMearns @patrickharvie @PaulJSweeney @Glasgow_COP @POPScotland I approached that junction, saw the (tiny) diversion sign, suggests you turn left onto one way street - the wrong way. There is nothing to suggest the pavement is now a dual use cycle way.

@GoBikeGlasgow There is a “sign” in this image, honestly! I challenge you to spot a sign at the Argyle Street junction (the “soft segregation is some plastic barriers hidden behind the car on the left)!

@GoBikeGlasgow Used the “diversion” today. No soft segregation on Argyle St, signage very poor (tiny yellow signs).

@GoBikeGlasgow @ColinBEdgar @carltonreid So this’ll be the route we are supposed to use from tomorrow along Old Dumbarton Road.. Cutting it a bit fine, are they not?

@Ian__Nicholson @UrbanistTOC @GoBikeGlasgow @carltonreid @Glasgow_COP @GlasgowEcoTrust @_OnBikes @SustransScot @RantyHighwayman @ChristyMearns @LessWasteLaura Absolutely! Used Old Dumbarton Road today. The works have been sporadic since last year. Also, didn’t see any signs warning of impending closure/alternative routes at Bells Bridge/route 7.
