. The story about police seizing illegal electric motorbikes is important in its own right but they used it as a bait and switch to have a go at cyclists. Unlawful ebikes and pedal cycles are not the same thing and it’s dishonest to conflate them.

They need to rethink this. You probably don't know this but there used to be a street in Glasgow called, checks notes, Buchanan Street. It was pedestrianised in the 1970s and no one has ever visited that street since. When will they realise that pedestrians don't shop, only cars?
