@luke_pighetti Yeah, every other service has this. Google cloud access roles feel so over-engineered!

@verry_codes If I ever decide to build products as a business, I will strongly considering going web only, whether that’s with Flutter or not.

@NekoTwit But the content is not like a book where a page is the continuation of the previous one. The focus should be on one page at a time. Maybe I’ll experiment with some kind of carousel.

@Boni2k @gawronlucas I tried that but didn't like it too much, because there's far more white space to swipe through. It feels odd to have so much space between pages, especially in landscape mode.

@draskosaric @shorebirddev @codemagicio I may be wrong, but I think both platforms are profitable. Code push was the #1 feature request for Flutter, and given the founders credentials, I don't think Shorebird will go away. Codemagic has been around since 2018.

@paulg I presume EU users can still use the latest models with an API key and custom wrappers?

Sometimes, I come across thorny problems that can't be solved by LLMs or reading the docs. And it's only with iteration and trial and error that I can figure things out. Over time, all the hard-won lessons compound, and *that* is what makes in-depth knowledge so valuable.

My latest course includes a whole module about GitHub Actions, showing how to make your pipelines faster, more reliable, and easier to manage. A complete workflow for Android & iOS is also included as a reference. To learn more, check the module intro:

~8 hours sleep: I will function well ~6 hours sleep: 99% chance I will function poorly, 1% chance I will inexplicably solve some big outstanding problem I was thinking about via what feels like divine revelation

@elliothesp LS has the highest fees of them all, and checkout is unreliable at times. I only use one-time payments, which all platforms offer. But 25% of my customers use PayPal so I kind of need it. I think once the new players catch up in a few months, they’ll win some market share.

@elliothesp If anything, the thing that impressed me most about Polar is how responsive they are, and how quickly they're catching up with more established players. But indeed they're very young still.
