The massive volumes of sediment liberated by this landslide induced flood will have emptied into Bute Inlet (through Southgate Delta) where we have been monitoring submarine channel dynamics!...when we go back this will be ๐คฏ๐คฏ ...once in career event & we have the pre-data! ๐
A helicopter pilot flew to B.C.'s Southgate River on Dec. 10, 2020, to investigate why trees and logs were floating down the nearby Bute Inlet.
