👍 With the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we've been able to increase opportunities for outdoor learning around Charnwood Forest. 🌳 We recently supported Woodside Lodge Outdoor Learning Centre to install a new cabin at their Vale Campus.

📅 Sydney Barber Josiah Skertchly, botanist and geologist, died on this day in 1926. ⛏️ Born in Anstey, Charnwood Forest, Sydney worked for the Geological Society of London and the British Geological Survey, before moving to Hong Kong and then Australia.
