NEW: LA's new city controller Kenneth Mejia threw out the playbook and recruited Gen-Z volunteers to help shape his campaign strategy with TikTok videos, Corgis and informative billboards. "We are community organizers. We are professionals, too. And we like to have fun."

People coming out against speed governors are openly sharing how much they like breaking the law. It is insane to me how people think they have a right to speed.

California would become the first state to require new vehicles be equipped with speed governors — technology that limits how fast they can be driven — under legislation by San Francisco state Sen. Scott Wiener.

This tweet is for any of the women in Los Angeles who want to take Metro, but are anxious to travel solo. I take the bus a few days a week and the train. I find that weekends mid-morning and weekdays late afternoon are busy and I feel most comfortable to ride alone.

A woman at the airport told me my skirt was stuck in my shorts. I apologized? Being a human is very hard.

Look—Florida is a different kind of crazy, but we need to also be calling out Newsom as he slashes active transportation budgets. California is one of the top consumers of gasoline on the planet and he’s often just greenwashing this state.
