@ProWFinesse Smackdown has as terrible roster. They have no heels that can even be a marginal secondary PPV challenger, so they keep recycling a bum like Solo.

@Crisopera1 @DADiClementi I think the problem with the various GDs followups is that various people are in fact Gold Diggers. In the 1933 one Lawrence and Peabody assume they are, but they really aren't (maybe Ginger a bit?). It's about deconstructing that stereotype.

@Jimfrombaseball Just because the next guy drove the runs in doesn't make this dumb. Musial's chances of driving runs in was probably higher.

@selfstyledsiren @r_emmet I had never heard of Laughter In Hell before. Is it available anywhere? Might make a triple feature with I Am a Fugitive From a Chain Gang and Hell's Highway.

@notgaetti Bernie was basically about as valuable as Jeter for most of that 1996-2002 time period. Not sure why Jeter was nearly unanimous and Bernie has gotten little HOF support.

@RantinReview The Hounds jobbed to the Callis Family on the same show. How does that make sense if the idea is for the HoH to go for the tag titles?

@uniformcritic Two first ballot HOF guys there that didn't even have awful years. But that team was horrid.

@CBKReport St. John's is pretty awful offensively either way though, 72 on kenpom. MSU is 29 in offense, not bad at all. Perhaps MSU has stopped with all the 3s and is focusing on what they can do well?

@Super70sSports I always want a receipt at the gas station. I don't care if it is tossed 5 seconds later. I want the documentation in my hand.

@notgaetti @baseball_ref @Stathead @RealCJ10 @baseballhall @ChickenMan3010 @TheWARmonger_ @orwellian @grantmcauley @GeorgeHBrett @CodifyBaseball Schmidt and Brett are easy. Don't care about Beltre. Iffy on Jones. I guess Boggs? I suppose my ambivalence towards those two is that I watched both of their careers and given the era they were in neither was especially OMG best guy in baseball level.

@PeterVecsey1 The Rockets seemed to be trying to tank so they could eventually draft Hakeem out of Houston. Kinda worked since they made the Finals in 1986 and later won in 1994 and 1995.

@Super70sSports Think about it. Louisville had the best basketball team on earth in 1975 and only a year later they were simply GONE. This happened before I was born, but I can't fathom it.

@TimCowlishaw Luka has played only 22 games this year. Davis has played 42. Mavs are going nowhere this year and may have felt the need to do something since Doncic wasn't resigning with Dallas.

@TimCowlishaw Luka this year: 3.0 WS, .182 WS per 48. Anthony Davis this year: 6.2 WS, .208 WS per 48.

@GoodmanHoops Gonzaga is 11 in the NET. A 3 seems kinda high for them this year, but I would think somewhere in the 4-5 range seems more like what they are.
