HxH is a really complex example. The main four separate after the literal first arc, and 2 of them stay together for almost the whole series while the other 2 go off and do their own thing (until the current arc where the two group members that did their own thing met up again)

I love Luffy vs Sanji but Luffy vs Usopp is definitely better. It hits harder since it’s the first time we see a fight between the strawhats, it’s more emotional since you know that Usopp legitimately wants to leave, and it also has really good fight choreography
