My take is that while there are pernicious elements within transsexuality itself (esp. the AGP variety), the bigger problem is the ideology.
Internalized male sexuality (unmoderated by an "other") + removal all social barriers + belief that one is actually a woman = total mania

I was feeling weirdly dysphoric earlier and wondering why. Usually my dysphoria and compulsive yearning to be a woman are triggered by stress but I couldn't figure out why because I'm otherwise feeling fine today...

On some level wanting to be a girl is more obvious/intuitive to me than wanting to be with her, so much that I don't even recognize the latter at first, but they're undoubtedly really deeply related.

That's one of the main reasons I'd probably have a really hard time as a parent.
It's really hard to see bad behavior in a 4 or younger year old because it's still just adorable and "harmless"

I remember one time r/mtf had a post asking how people's political views have changed in relationship to transition.
Literally something like 75% of the replies were anarcho-communists or full-fledged tankies. The thread had to be shut down quite quickly...

Also trans often don't seem to realize that sometimes people just don't want to be confrontational. Just because you get "she/her" or "ma'am" all the time doesn't mean that the speaker actually thinks you are female.

This is the logical consequence of queer theory. It's "essentialism" to point out that women have vaginas, so do desire having one as if that's *more feminine* than having a penis reinforces the sex binary.

This is just false. I have met a number of groyper-types (and was one myself for a time). The vast majority of them don't *actually* engage with the ancient/medieval thought that they venerate. Most of them get their history, philosophy, even religious beliefs from memes.
