i got the first reply to a full and i'm SHAKING. it was majorly positive, the agent understood my characters and intentions so completely, but ultimately didn't offer. they gave me really good feedback that i know i'm capable of implementing, but of course i'd love an offer 🥲

the book i'm beta reading is in 3rd person, present tense and this really is superior. it's seamless. you get into the character's head but it doesn't become "too much" like 1st person sometimes does (FOR ME; this is all highly personal and, therefore, subjective).
