The Mandalorian Season 2 was led by not one, not two, not three, but four strong women. And fans loved it. They still haven’t stopped praising the episode, four years later as the height of the series. Don’t call Star Wars fans sexist. It’s ignorant and it’s not true.

I think for the most part they’ll do a great job. There’s only one thing that would completely derail Amazon’s Middle Earth series. If they go for Game of Thrones R-rated adult situations, it’s DOA. They have to be faithful to Tolkien’s spirit.
Amazon says its Lords of the Rings prequel series needs to appeal to a "giant, global audience."

And it was so deserved. I wish movies were still made like this. Really upon reflection, LOTR was the greatest trilogy or sequential franchise (excluding Marvel because it’s hard to compare 20+ movies) over last 3 decades. Yes I love Star Wars, but it never attempted what PJ did.
On 27 January 2004, LOTR: The Return of the King was nominated for 11 Academy Awards. A month later, the film won all, making it tied with Ben-Hur and Titanic as the most awarded films in Oscar history. It was the first fantasy film to win Academy Award for Best Picture.

He actually understood English very well and could use the keyboard to communicate in sophisticated ways. I’d ask him to do all kinds of complicated tasks. He could make his own tools, cook food. I adore Pelli Motto. Amy Sedaris is brilliant in the role. Not only does she look the part, she delivers her lines like 1970s A New Hope-era tv. She and her droid menagerie repair hanger would be perfect for a Star Wars version of Mr. Rogers for young kids. But I get to write.

I saw Solo tonight for the third time and enjoyed it as much as the first. This might be the most accessible and re-watchable @StarWars film since the original trilogy. Above all else, Solo is fun! I hope @RealRonHoward has aspirations for a Han Solo trilogy!

It seems strange saying this as an active life-long Tolkien fan, but I finally finished The Silmarillion today! It was amazing. Tolkien truly is the J.S. Bach of world-building. There will never be any better. I had no idea the book covered the entire Middle Earth world history!.

Around the holidays I re-watch Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Star Wars OT & Harry Potter. Today it’s Lord of the Rings. As much as Star Wars OT is in my blood & among my earliest memories, I’m having a hard time declaring that Lord of the Rings isn’t the greatest trilogy ever made.

Hey @StarWars Clone Wars fans!. While live-action shoots are on indefinite hold during the pandemic--we should be pushing for MORE new episodes of The Clone Wars to be made. There are still A LOT of unfinished episodes at Lucasfilm, and they COULD finish those in this lockdown.
