Reth alpha.13 release is out, fixing a long-standing issue for full node and heavy RPC tracing users.
Block commit times are now consistent at 200–300ms, compared to the previous buggy behavior, of up to 30s.

Reth Alpha.16 is out!
Most importantly, we found and fixed a bug with a database transaction leak that caused our DB to indefinitely increase in size.
We also implemented default timeouts and better observability for read transactions to mitigate such leaks in the future.

We significantly improved our pruner, which made our full node faster and more reliable. Note the warning in release notes.
For ExEx builders, we finally introduced the Backfill that allows you to re-execute past blocks.
Also, some RPC bugs were fixed.

Reth beta.5 is out!
This release fixes an OOM (out of memory) issue during the Merkle stage on machines with 8–16GB of memory.
Additionally, it adjusts the pruner behavior, potentially improving the validator performance.
And for cloudooors: Reth now works on NFS volumes!

We fixed a critical bug in the static files that could lead to inconsistent storage state.
All beta node operators are recommended to upgrade, and all alpha node operators should look into re-syncing on Beta to get disk usage and performance improvements.
