People who are conflicted, disagree or feeling uncomfortable about views expressed by these protesters can avoid being near the area & are free to express their views anywhere, including in spaces where others agree or disagree with them. Most classrooms aren’t nearby.

That’s funny. I’ve been working with others at an encampment to ensure safety and all I saw there was actual community where students mingled, interacted, got to know and trust each other. Heck, they had a Muslim sundown prayer, a Passover Seder, Christian services, the works.
