Shatterproof VP of state policy and Mendell, who joined w Pacira in a campaign against Rx Opioids. Shatterproof blames chronic pain pts for the fact that opioids haven't been removed from the market. Does someone want to tell her that Suboxone is an opioid? Pharma funding is A OK, as long as it's an addiction org and not pain org. @billkinkle @billkinkle I'm so w/ you! I've been advocating for reform of, battling this system & it's injustices for 20+ yrs. Fighting alongside friends & colleagues to change the system. What we no is that ones dose is THERAPEUTIC for them! Regardless of what the "powers" think.
