I’ve noticed the chat about whether Reform candidates actually exist. Doing research into all the candidates during the campaign, I queried the background of the Windsor candidate. Named Harl Grewal, no one knew if they were male or female; they had no online presence….

Midway through the campaign a photo was added to their bio on the Reform website. A reverse image search reveals no hits. They didn’t attend any hustings or the count last week. Finally many of the X accounts that mention Harl are unusual- lots of reposts but no original tweets..

This is a familiar theme… the RBWM Tories not only froze council tax but cut it for years. Now we face huge budget gaps, a hollowed-out officer core and no way of making up all that lost income, which could have been spent on services for our residents.
🎯 Spot. On. The former Tory Council Leader took Somerset to the brink of bankruptcy in 2019 due to his party’s irresponsible, vote-chasing decision to freeze Council Tax for SIX YEARS. We’re still paying the price for that now, with a £150m black hole in the county’s finances 🕳
