Coco was admitted to the hospital last night. The pain in her neck wasn’t getting better & there was a lump on the right side. A CT scan showed a large abscess in her neck. We’ll find out today what exactly it is and where we go from here. 💙🙏🏼

19 years ago today, I entered the MTC with my fancy 1 megapixel digital camera and my khaki skirt. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made (the mission— not the khaki skirt). So grateful for the time I spent in western NY serving the Lord. 🫶🏼

Coco update! The drain was removed, she’s feeling good, & has time free from the IV so she can walk around and not be so cooped up. But the soonest she will be going home is the 24th 😬 Fingers crossed we’re home for Christmas, but if we’re not, we’ll make the most of it! 💙

Our sweet baby boy was having trouble oxygenating, so he’s been in the NICU for a couple days. His color is getting better, and they’re slowly weaning him. He’s doing great! We don’t think he’ll come home with mama and sister tomorrow, but he shouldn’t have to stay much longer.
