Well I think our fans today were great, basically sold out the away end, supported and clapped the players off. If reading a book in a stadium whilst you’re on a phone with no signal (!) is ‘downhill’ then that’s your problem. Save yourself the embarrassment and delete this 👍🏽

The irony is, I tried going on my phone to look up the scores, got no signal as Goodison has even worse 5G than Selhurst so I got my book out 😂 I did try being a normal away fan, I promise..

Some drivers (I think Max) have said they prefer to hold the wheel super tight as it maintains body tension and reduces the chance of injury from arms being loose in the cockpit

Also an underwhelming stint in F1 will stick with you for the rest of your career, in sportscars you’re given more chance to develop (along with more testing). Plus a more hardcore following crowd who understand the nuance of the sport. F1 just sounds like a pain

I think the anger is more that he is never going to be in F1 (at least on merit) so its a waste of an opportunity that could be used for another driver like Jack or Dan. He isn't useless but he'd be better off trying to prepare for sports car racing or something

I think it's worth saying he wouldn't have been expecting marshals on the track. Catch the safety car implies the track is clear. Its such a sudden situation to drive flat out into I think its asking a lot to even register quick enough to slow

This is a great question, I personally consider World/European karting championships higher than most junior single seater series, so would probably go for Lando Norris as he won both and was amazing in cars too

I agree with your sentiments, but Zhou was not shit in F2, he did a decent job and was consistently near the front and at the front 3rd year, in a decent but not amazing team.

Considering Felipe isn't affiliated and is paying for a reasonably good F2 seat (plus is Brazilian) I'm sure he could bring a good sponsorship package with him. Not Latifi level but the money won't disappear completely

Unfortunately Felipe's results just aren't at the level of an F1 talent, he was weak in F3, good for 2 years in F2 and is probably going to win the championship against quite a weak F2 field. He's clearly a good driver but for F1 (unless you have big sponsors) you need a bit more

In fairness, Bolton arguably accomplished ‘more’ in their premier league stint than us, for 3 years they were consistently the best team in the league outside the traditional top 4. Also had two memorable European stints. I totally see why people have this view

I think this a bit different, all those teams had an F1/automotive heritage name (maybe not Red Bull, but arguably now it does) that you could just call it instead. The horrible Aston name isn’t a problem as it has an identifiable name. What do we call this name though?

This is unbelievable - there should be no one in the pit lane until every driver has been confirmed as crossed the chequered flag. It's equivalent to having marshals on a live circuit, that would never happen so why is this acceptable, pit lane is still part of the race track

Palace fan here, £8m may be steep, but he’s a really versatile, hard working and skilful player who has a great fitness record. When we signed him most of us were underwhelmed, and now you’d be hard pressed to find anyone who has anything bad to say about him. That says a lot imo

Did they wet the track artificially or wait for it to rain? I suspect the former, it doesn’t look gloomy enough to be representative of visibility in wet running. To really test this, the FIA need to do it at Spa on a pissing wet day otherwise what is the point
