I guess we’ll have to see how total traffic flow changes between 2 one-ways vs 2 two-ways.
I’m happy my kids won’t have to grow up on a road where cars fly by. and they’ll have protected bike/sidewalks, which is great.

imo bike lanes solve two problems:
protecting bikers & pedestrians from traffic, and protecting pedestrians from bikers
I dont think we want a 5 year old & my fat ass on a bike using the same lane
also, we don’t want 0 protection for folks on the sidewalk from 4K lb machines

New from me: Sen. Aaron Freeman has been adamant that dedicated lanes, such as those proposed for the Blue Line, were not part of the conversation around the 2016 transit funding referendum. I took a look at what was discussed back then.
