You imbeciles have likely never seen the works of the Office of NIH History and Stetten Museum. They preserve the material heritage of the NIH and display the equipment, notebooks, and other materials used by the nation’s biomedical research enterprise to advance health.
In the past 48 hours, HHS canceled 62 contract worth $182 million. These contracts were entirely for administrative expenses – none touched any healthcare programs. This included terminating a $168,000 contract for an Anthony Fauci exhibit at the NIH Museum.

You have no right to cancel contracts provided through the Indian Health Service. The government is violating the federal trust responsibility to Tribal governments. @NIHB1 @NCUIH_Official @NCAI1944 @IndianAffairs @lisamurkowski @SenBrianSchatz

In 1979, as @AmericanCancer president, Dr. LaSalle D. Leffall Jr. created a program focused on advancing health equity and eliminating cancer disparities among Black Americans. Equity, diversity, and inclusion is paramount to the practice of medicine.
In recognition of both #WorldCancerDay and #BlackHistoryMonth, we celebrate Dr. LaSalle D. Leffall Jr., @AmericanCancer's first Black president and a leader in promoting awareness of the risks of cancer — particularly among the Black community.

Last year, Arizona became one of four states to offer coverage of American Indian traditional healing services through Medicaid. A great accomplishment in a state with a large inter-tribal population.
BREAKING: The Arizona Medical Association applauds @GovernorHobbs for renewing her commitment to healthcare in today’s State of the State Address. In her remarks to the state legislature and residents, the Governor shared her vision for restoring the #ArizonaPromise, which included a continued effort to improve healthcare. Like @GovernorHobbs, ArMA is striving to guarantee patients have access to the healthcare they deserve and physicians have the autonomy they need to provide quality care. Unfortunately, challenges are mounting for patients and physicians as they wrestle with insurers’ red tape, a dire healthcare workforce shortage, and the politicization of healthcare. As the 2025 Legislative Session gets underway, ArMA is already at work on these issues. We’re collaborating with elected officials, stakeholders, and patients to make Arizona the best place to practice medicine and receive care. That’s the #ArMAPromise. #ArizonaMedicine #AZMedicine #StateOfTheState #GovernorKatieHobbs #AZLegislature #AZCapitol #PhysicianAdvocacy #2025legislativesession

A horrific reality for expectant parents in South Dakota. Many from the Rosebud Indian Reservation depended on Winner Regional Health for Labor & Delivery services. American Indian infant mortality rates in South Dakota have more than doubled since 2017. @AmerMedicalAssn
Another blow to rural #maternitycare: Winner Regional Health in SD will end L&D services starting Feb. 1, 2025. Expectant moms now face longer travel and many uncertainties for childbirth, as nearby towns also lack L&D services. #MaternalHealthCrisis

Yesterday was my last day on outpatient pediatrics at @RadyChildrens. I almost melted when a couple asked if I could be their newborn’s primary care provider. 🥹🥰
