@JulieChangRE I have trouble with the sink-by-range combination in the center of that far wall. Lots of choices get made downstream that are annoying to me personally: small window above sink, open shelf next to range, etc. The fluting and color might work in a different layout.

@thepstall @Brittonnorth @JulieChangRE If you believe that the government has some critical functionality that shouldn’t be disrupted, you might agree that the risk of some inefficiencies is lower than the risk of instability in the system. Maybe it’s a false choice ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@MuseZack This is a good use case for AI and decentralized and uncensorable video storage: public satire. How else do you keep unaccountable people accountable?

@MuseZack It’s doubling as a UAP Disclosure release to prime the next generation. Hard to pull off in 90 minutes.

@JulieChangRE It’s related to your point; there are a couple principles at play. 1) Civil servants should have protections from inevitable political turnover and from agencies’ functions being politicized. 2) Teacher tenure is a comp for stabilizing a bureaucracy. Neither are perfect.

@JohnMcDonaldSB I love those appliances but break out in hives when I see a shelf installed above a range. How about that hood though?! Any deets on it?

@JohnMcDonaldSB @shawngorham 2 minutes of research considering what the cleanup workers from 9/11 are going through is enough to make a hard pass.

June would mark a tag of the .618
Breaking: US Fed puts out their 2025 monetary policy report - juicy - they announced they are ending Quantitative Tightening in June After a $2 trillion reduction, lowering the balance sheet to below $6.4 trillion and selling securities holdings down $300 billion since June 2024. IMO: this news will hit the markets Monday and front running will begin.
