Feeling Alone in a Crowd Have you ever felt completely alone, even when you're in a room full of people? That's me, right now. Surrounded by faces, yet enveloped in solitude. It's strange, isn't it? How isolation isn't about the absence of people, but the absence of connection. But here's the thing - even in the darkest tunnels, there's a light somewhere in the distance. It flickers, it beckons, promising that better days are not just a myth. And in my case, I'm pretty sure that light is taking the form of 1990's Brad Pitt, who's bound to knock on my door any day now. So, if you're out there feeling like I do, remember: You're Not Alone: Even when it feels like it, there's someone, somewhere, feeling just like you. Hope is Persistent: It hangs around, often where and when you least expect it. Unexpected Joy: Life might just surprise you with something (or someone) as wildly unexpected as a 90s heartthrob showing up at your doorstep. Keep an eye out for your light, and who knows? Maybe Brad Pitt will bring us both a coffee. #FeelingAlone #Hope #UnexpectedJoy #BradPittPleaseKnock This post aims to connect with others who might feel the same, offering a touch of humor and hope amidst the feeling of isolation.

@FarmsKutie @Belinda21570772 @TaraBull808 That is where we have been getting our chicks since the first time. I'll have to ask em about if they want the roos. Of course I'll have to go cuz if I send my husband he will come home with more, just like he did a few days ago. Lol.

@LRosestars @TaraBull808 It is an ancient way of storing eggs for when the girls slow down in the winter. You can get the slaked lime at the hardware store and I keep them in 5 gallon buckets

@bundebunden @PAcountrygirl6 @Norgu5 @TaraBull808 Lol. Yup. When I find out there is a way to make sure my kids can eat no matter what is happening in the world, I do whatever I can to learn as much as I can. I'm still learning tho

I looked at them, but we tried to do a raised bed last year and my black thumb killed everything. I have the HARDEST time keeping plants alive. I'm much better with animals. At one time we had 27 pets in my apartment. From spiders, snakes, guinea pigs, to parrots. We had reduced it to 2 dogs and a cat now add 18 chickens lol

@FarmsKutie @Belinda21570772 @TaraBull808 Lemme know. I'm still learning about the chicken stuff. YouTube and Google has been a lifesaver but accidently getting some roos at Pratts Pets was my rookie mistake.

@FarmsKutie @Belinda21570772 @TaraBull808 Know anyone who wants some roos. Not allowed to have them in Mesa and I'm not looking forward to processing them myself. They aren't mature yet so I have some time before they are ready.

@TRHLofficial hey Josie, what was the name of the gentleman that was the first man killed in the revolutionary war in the Boston "massacre"? My husband and I were discussing it with our 12 year old and I couldn't remember his name other than he was a black man and 4 others were killed that day.

@LordSilveron @TaraBull808 Lol well my husband just came home with 2 Easter egger chicks yesterday. Can't trust him to go to the farm store to get chicken feed without coming home with some kind of critter. Lol

I got into it about a year ago. When I found out I could can ground beef and it would be good on the shelf without refrigeration for years I autistically dove down the rabbit hole. I can't tell you how much $$ and food I have lost thru freezer burn and electrical failure. I still have frozen foods but now I don't have anxiety. It's never good to have all your eggs in one basket. I wanna get a freeze dryer when I become independently wealthy so we have some 25 year shelf stable meals we can "bug out" with if needed. Jars are breakable and heavy and frozen won't last in a backpack, but freeze dried solves both those problems.

@VelvetBarbs @TaraBull808 Um sure I will, but since animals are a commitment I'll just have to deal.

@mrscoach87 @TaraBull808 Just tell him that chicken droppings are a wonderful fertilizer! And build a chicken tunnel thru the garden to fertilize it and eat the bugs off the leaves!

Mine are still pretty young they have all their big girl feathers but I am a worrynick when it comes to my animals. It got down into the 30's a couple of nights so I added the heater on an automatic timer and I'm gonna HAVE to get a coop fan. It stays 100° at midnight in the summer and 115° in the shade during the day. I know that chickens handle the cold better than heat so that is why I have some heat hardy breeds.
