My sons wanted to take this beautiful old girl to her favorite place on earth one last time. The second she got out of the truck she had energy I haven’t seen in years. She was her old self full of joy. Was a beautiful day gonna take her for another swim.

Zoey welcomed Lucy into her life and never skipped a beat. Lucy was a hood rescue and not always the most pleasant. Zoey showed her nothing but love “except for one night when she had enough and whooped Lucy’s ass” 😂😂 but after that she reverted back to love and patience

Sentimental tonight. If you’re a struggling parent there’s always the 4/5 candy and microwave popcorn. If you’re lucky you can watch a movie too. I remember being broke af but still a king to my young sons because we had snacks, a movie and lots of love.

12 months and it’s all over for us. I remember the years of coaching.. the practices I wasn’t looking forward to, the travel, the minor inconveniences. Oh and the parents 😒.. thing is I’d give just about anything to go back and do it all again.
