Having built stuff on evm mina aptos solana. Dev experience was roughly equal, mina was super fun wow. Until you use the chains. Your devving everything is fast then you deploy and use it in prod. One chain had the same experience in production…. Solana. Dev is fast prod is fast

Im not a solana maxi, but I have no plans to jump to some other chain as my day to day. Solana is fun, and getting better every day. The solana team are the smartest people I have ever worked with. And they listen to the devs. Its worth something.

Looks like DAS API is really starting to take off. But please for visibility repost this. Its not a Helius product or a triton product DAS API is a multi team ecosystem spanning api specification that makes reading data from Solana easier.

When i first used geyser plugins they were called accounts db and it was 100% glass with radioactive lead and the ping fiberglass stuff that makes you itch. Its way better now and in solana 1.15 all my dreams and gh issues come true. Thank you nameless faceless Solana engineers.

On Ethereum every “creator” developer can make nfts programmable. The entire interface model supports this. If you are critical of mip-2 . Know that we are trying to bring this level of fun to solana. At the base level and even in a way that less technical people can use too.

There was some great feedback and things to change about it for sure. But as we talked to the BIG "guardians". They wanted to keep the status quo. They weren't worried about decentralization. Thy just wanted to make sure the big huge partner joined the solana ecosystem.

I wrote the code for this I have a few things to add. But i want to emphasize that this is a bandaid. There will be much more accurate punishment of bots coming. Exponential punishment. Also more protection for the users. But they are breaking changes so we do them in a diff way.
