TESLA: ALWAYS read past the Headline!. PANASONIC.Panasonic cutting back “domestic” battery production is Japan Production. Panasonic is a Japanese company. Panasonic primarily supplies Tesla out of its Nevada factory, with some supply (Model S/X cells coming from Japan).
Some $TSLA investors may have been spooked by this story that Tesla battery supplier Panasonic cut domestic battery output by 60% and says sales won’t recover “any time soon” . Important to note batteries produced in Japan are for high end Tesla Model S & X. Higher priced models

As a Tahoe resident I have driven Donner Pass many times. ALL SEMI’S crawl up the steep grade of the pass—at least they did, before the game-changing Tesla Semi started blowing by them like they are parked, even with a full load.
I had some thoughts about how to (safely) capture some video of the Tesla Semi vs diesel semi’s going up a steep grade. The average grade ascending the Donner Pass is 7% up to 16%. This is some of what I captured. #Tesla #teslasemi Tesla runs these semi’s daily, fully loaded up
