EP 137 Confidently Crazy

I share my thoughts on the controversial film Joker 2, Despite the backlash, I believe the film offers a profound character study on identity and societal expectations. It's good, call me stupid.
In the second half of the episode, we shift
This is extremely personal for me but I want to be honest with why I drink Raw Milk every day as a lactose intolerant person. My entire life changed, my health and body changed all for the better. After I found out this information, I knew I would never be the same.

Scorsese is special. Out of the group of him, Spielberg, Lucas, de Palma, and Coppola, he truly has brought something to cinema. His consistency and relentless pursuit of having the story and image be interesting is what his legend is.
@historyinmemes
I watched this movie on repeat for a while when I was a kid. Gene had me mesmerized and made me think a lot about his character and why he would yell at Charlie. It was a test I figured out. Much needed moment in such a light movie
Hollywood and other media does not want this new Coppola film to be seen or thought of as interesting. Bogus reports about his set behavior prove they want him out.
While researching this film I learned the story is a mix of an old Roman Conspiracy plot to kill an emperor and
@SheaSerrano
Glen has a throwback vibe to his acting. They’re giving him 90s-2000s type movies, a Bill Paxton replacement, Tom Cruise heel, romantic lead. Hollywood is pushing normalcy with this guy.
@RobertKennedyJr
Stick to podcasts and consistent clips on social media. If you do a Super Bowl ad, it needs to be clear with the vision of your campaign, this video is not it IMO
@FilmUpdates
There is always a romanticization people want from these types of movies, a real ownership of the narrative is what it symbolizes. If Coppola has a story to tell then it should be respected and accepted.
@tim_cook
I think it’s weird that Apple is pushing a narrative of being fearful of mother nature. Also, none of their climate stuff talks about the slave labor that goes into constructing the iPhones or the mining for the minerals that are needed to make all components. I say on my iPhone.
@CinemaTweets1
The way tom cruise makes movies is old fashioned and extremely daring. There are countless rewrites and experiments. The characters are developed AROUND the actor and their strengths. This particular scene is peak example of letting your actor do the best they can with what they
I have done the experiments and am now fully on the raw milk product train. I discovered I was lactose intolerant 7 years ago. Now I see that I was intolerant to an incomplete/ highly processed “drink” made to last longer in shelves. Now I drink real milk.

Warner Bros lied about the existance of Snydercut, continually abused the directors who tried to tell anything close to a coherent story and above all that the company is a cesspool of toxicity led by money and politics.
@HiTopFilms
MCU Spider-Man is the literal best franchise marvel has and they barely have it.
Better to stretch an origin than just have him flip around with no emotion
@DiscussingFilm
I was so naive about this when I was 11, thought it looked way too weird and gross and not star wars. no one told me it would be the beginning of the best thing George Lucas would create. Animation is the way!
This is false. Steve Jobs did NOT invent podcasts.
@adamcurry
did. Adam was using Mac products to distribute the first podcasts and Apple was looking at what was being made and liked it. Steve Jobs saw the potential, reached out to Adam for the Podcast Directory to put it in
@CultureCrave
It was so cathartic for me seeing the similarities with the animation and natural energy between these two. Beautiful blending of my favorites of Star Wars.
@AlpacaAurelius
Criticizing Wim Hofs appearance and linking it to the cold water aging him makes no sense. He’s been honest about eating pasta and drinking beer when he wants to. But then you pull up a screenshot of Rogan who eats well and looks younger than he is?
This show deconstructs clips from mainstream news to see the narratives they use to manipulate and scare. This episode has 2 hours of Covid clips from Jan-May 20’
I’m holding on to this one forever. They don’t really care about us. They want us buying their products or dead.
@DiscussingFilm
Creed is really one of the best examples of expanding a franchise organically. Too bad Stallone got screwed by the main producer for ownership
