What does the rest of that part of the law say? Does it authorize the money be spent on illegal immigrants?
DOGE didn't discover anything. Congress publicly voted on and appropriated $650 million for FEMA's Shelter and Services program, and the money is transferred to FEMA from DHS money. The program shouldn't exist, but that's irrelevant. This is a waste of everyone's time.

@karlykingsley @jo65908680 I work in K-12. DOE is a joke. It does nothing that states can't do themselves. The only thing they do is threaten money unless states do as they demand.
